Who am I?

I'm Janine, and I don't just love to travel, I love writing about it too. I'm an absolute action fan and always up for the next adventure.

When I'm not out catching the next wave, I live in Düsseldorf on the beautiful Rhine. Even here, away from work, I'm looking for action: whether it's inline skating along the Rhine, a horseback ride through the forest, or kickboxing. I'm always on the lookout for new challenges.

Travel, sport and adventure shape my everyday life and my stories. Whether far away or right on my doorstep, I love seizing every opportunity to experience something new and gather authentic travel experiences.

Since tourism excites me professionally as much as my private travels do, after training as a certified travel and leisure specialist I went on to complete a state-certified business economics qualification specialising in tourism. Even during that time, I was already writing copy for the website and social media at my training company.

After a brief stint at a media agency, my path led me to the tour operator alltours. In sales marketing, I was able to deepen my writing skills further, producing numerous texts, from newsletters and booking guides for travellers to magazines that kept travel agencies informed of the latest news. Always with the goal of presenting trips and destinations in an appealing way.

I've also worked for Freizeitpark Wisseler See GmbH, helping shape the imagery and copy for their new website.

I live out my passion for travel, outdoor adventure and storytelling every day.
