When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically collects information that your browser transmits. This includes in particular: IP address, date and time of access, the page accessed, browser and operating system used, and the previously visited page (referrer). This data is technically necessary to display the website and ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and functional offering). This data is not combined with other data sources or evaluated for marketing purposes.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider: Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. The provider processes the data generated in connection with visits to the website (see "Access data & server log files") on my behalf, based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the provider, ensuring compliant handling of the data.

4. Contact

The contact form on this website does not store your input on a server. When submitted, it simply opens your own email programme with the details you entered (name, email address and message), so you send the message yourself. If you contact me by email, I process the information you provide in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation or performance of a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry). I delete this data as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected, and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Fonts

For a consistent display of fonts, this website uses locally hosted fonts. The font files are loaded directly from this website's server; no connection is made to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts), and no IP address is transmitted to third parties.

6. Cookies & analytics

This website does not use cookies for tracking or marketing purposes. For audience measurement it uses Vercel Web Analytics, a service provided by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. The service works without cookies and without cross-device recognition; no data is collected that would allow individual visitors to be identified. What is recorded are aggregated figures such as pages viewed, referring website, country, operating system and browser type. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in a statistical analysis of website usage (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

7. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data: access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise these rights, an informal message to the contact details given above is sufficient.

8. Right to complain to a supervisory authority

Independent of the above, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR.
